Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation

Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation is a non-surgical method of helping to reduce the signs of ageing. It has gained popularity as the 'it' facial therapy, becoming more widely accepted as more celebrities have been endorsing its benefits. From #GwynethPaltrow #KimKardashian #JenniferAniston #AliciaKeys #LisaSnowdon #SandraBullock #MillieMacintosh to name a few. Though Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture can sometimes be referred to as an Acupuncture Facelift, it is much more than a cosmetic procedure. The needles are specifically placed for the individual needs of the patient and designed to help to move blood, energy & stagnation so the 'whole' body can not only look but also feel younger. The Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation treatment is still based on the principles of TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) & involves the insertion of small thin needles into particular areas of the face, ears, neck, & legs along channels or meridians of energy called Qi (pronounced chee).

Buccal/Masseter Facial Massage

Megan Markle's 'go-to Facial treatment' she swears by these "inner facials" and credits them for sculpting her cheekbones and jawline.

Buccal facial massage is the most advanced rejuvenative facial massage technique. It is like no other facial massage due to the nature of the technique. It requires working not only on the outside of the face but also on the inside through the oral cavity. The jaw holds a lot of tension and hormonal toxic buildup, it can be seen a microsystem of the whole body. Buccal massage allows us to reach deeper layers of the skin such as the muscle tissue, ligaments and bones. Superficial facial massage only achieves superficial results. By working on the deeper structures we can naturally increase facial tone, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and improve skins complexion. As a result we can dramatically reduce visual signs of ageing without surgical interventions. This technique requires great knowledge of anatomical structures of the face, as well as the skill to work on individual muscles.

A mix of Manual Lymphatic Drainage, acupressure, Gua Sha and Facial cupping techniques are also applied.

Facial threading

Threading has been used for centuries in the East to help remove facial hair. A 100% cotton thread is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin, entwining the hairs in the thread, which are then lifted from the follicle with an even tension. The whole face can be threaded and as no chemicals or heat are applied to this delicate area, the chances of skin irritation and inflammation are reduced.
